"We’ve been dealing with DoctorDetox since Nov 06 and closely with Nick Gander all year. DoctorDetox using their F.I.E Horse therapy units converted my treadmill. Now with the two treatments combined, within 28 minutes we can now match a three mile gallop on a mid summers day, with out tendon problems. An excellent weight loss programme, coupled with cleaning the horse out. I will recommend this product to any trainer that wants excellent results but from a natural therapy."
Gary Moore (Brighton)
Woodingdean trainer Gary Moore is the latest big name trainer to be given responsibility for a club horse, in this case our French import Tamreen who will be going over hurdles for the first time very shortly. An ex-jockey who rode over 150 winners in his career including Reve De Valse (the winner of ten races over hurdles and fences), Gary knows the game inside out and is part responsible for up and coming jockeys Ryan and Jamie Moore, two sons who look like they are going to get to the very top of their chosen professions.
As a brief history, Gary started training in 1993 and has passed the 500 winners mark in that brief period, with the likes of Tikram over jumps (won Mildmay of Flete at Cheltenham Festival etc) and Karinga Bay (won FIVE Group Threes on the flat and was fourth in the 93 Coral Eclipse) as testament to his all round training skills under either code. With all that experience, and the fact that he is one of the most honest and trustworthy horsemen we know, we can sleep peacefully knowing that our promising young hurdler is in the very best of hands at his yard near Brighton racecourse.
Five men are battling to be top All-Weather trainer, led by Mark Johnston, Richard Hannon, Kevin Ryan, Gary Moore and in fifth spot Clive Brittain. Although £50,000 behind, Clive Brittain could sneak it.
Nick Gander Treated our horse Vinmix De Bessy with four treatments in his mobile horse therapy unit at Gary Moore’s Yard in Brighton, with good feed back from exercise ride outs he proceeded to go with Gary Moore’s team to Plumpton and treat the horse just before racing, the result speaks for itself and we would like to take this opportunity to thank DoctorDetox for there help and would recommend others to use there services.
Yours truly,
Give Every Man His Due

Paula Humphries registered osteopath
'I was first introduced to the horse therapy unit when treating a horses back. The horse appeared to be very relaxed in the therapy unit, and the osteopathic treatment I gave was helped by the increase in muscle receptor stretch. The horse was turned out into the field afterwards, and the owner was impressed that the horse bucked, played and rolled which was, behaviour not normally observed before.
With a couple of race horses that I regularly treat, it has been noted that their performance at home, and on the open race track, has dramatically improved since they have been receiving the therapy treatment.
They have shown an increase in appetite and drinking, the condition of their coats has improved, as has muscle tone and recovery times. It has been noted that they roll on return to their stable, showing a happy and relaxed attitude.
It has also had a profound effect with my practice at home with humans, showing benefits that far exceed all my expectations. I have seen high blood pressure patients showing a steady reduction in blood pressure. It is also assists patients going though an emotional crisis, even a decrease in epileptic seizure activity. I can’t imagine being without the invaluable benefit of this piece of equipment in my practice.
Not only is this a holistic, non invasive treatment, it is wonderful to find an aid that can detoxify, give a cardiovascular workout, and have so many health benefits because of the systemic decongestion. Therefore, it accelerates healing on injury as well as enhancing performance; slows down osteopathic change and therefore give competition horses a longer happier working life.'
